Bid documents with the necessary specifications may be obtained at a non-refundable cost of R100.00 from the Supply Chain Management Unit, 4th floor, 32 Govan Mbeki Avenue, Port Elizabeth. Documents may be collected during working hours after 8h30 on Monday, 17 February 2020.
A compulsory briefing session will take place in the Committtee Room 1, 6th floor, 32 Govan Mbeki, Avenue, Port Elizabeth, starting at 11h00. Failure to attend will result in the rejection of the bid.
Bids in a sealed envelope clearly marked " BID NO. 12/2019: PROCUREMENT OF PROFESSIONAL SERVICES FOR THE PROCUREMENT OF THE SARAH BAARTMAN DISTRICT MUNICIPAL AREA ROAD MANAGEMENT SYSTEM INCLUDING OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS FOR A PERIOD OF THREE (3) YEARS" must be placed in the bid box at 4th floor, 32 Govan Mbeki Avenue. The closing date for the submissions of the bids is Monday, 16 March 2020 by no later than 12h00 (noon).
Please note that the Supply Chain Management Policy of Sarah Baartman District Municipality shall be used to adjudicate the tender, and the 80/20 preferential points system shall apply whereby a contract will be allocated to a tenderer in accordance with the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act, Act No. 5 of 2000, Preferential Procurement Regulations, 2017 and as defined in the Conditions of the Bid in the bid document, where 80 points will be allocated in respect of price and 20 points will be allocated for B-BBBEE status level contributor.
No late, incomplete, facsimile or emailed bids will be considered. The only or lowest bid received shall not necessarily be accepted.
